Who we’re looking for

An experienced communications professional with a background in campaign or account management and excellent planning and strategic communications skills. Building on our award winning campaigns and our focus on colleague engagement, you will be central to our work to support the company as we deliver on our customer promises and build the trust of our customers every day. We are especially keen to hear from you if you have a passion for, and talent in, one or more of the following areas:

• Campaign planning and account management
• Advertising and marketing, especially behavioural change
• Copywriting
• Campaign evaluation
• Internal communications
• Digital and social media

What you’ll be responsible for

• Develop, manage and deliver a portfolio of campaigns from major customer facing campaigns through to internal, transformational change including marketing and social media campaigns.
• Identify and flag risks & issues relating to campaign delivery and meeting of objectives.
• Support the planning and implementation of detailed communication campaigns for internal and external audiences.
• Manage campaigns to deadline and budget, focusing on delivery of campaign objectives working with internal stakeholders and specialist agencies and creative partners.
• Work with other team members to evaluate and report campaign progress and outcomes and engage across the wider business.
• Develop and deliver innovative, low and no cost communication campaigns using digital and offline channels
• Support the company’s change programmes, liaising with project communications roles based within change teams to ensure that campaigns are developed and delivered that support business objectives to agreed standards.
• Engage across the company’s portfolio of communications campaigns to identify issues that pose communications risks & proactively put handling/ communications plans in place.
• Where necessary provide communications support for gold and silver operational incidents.
