At the heart of the social economy in Wales, the Wales Co-operative Centre is an organisation that is in the business of creating a better, fairer, more co-operative society. Since 1982, we have helped to strengthen and empower Welsh communities by supporting the growth of co-operatives and social enterprises, and by collaboratively delivering projects that provide skills and tackle exclusion.

Following recent growth, we invite applications from all sections of the community for the post of:

Digital Communities Wales - Trainer

2 full time posts based in Caerphilly office (Covering South-East Wales)  (1 x post Welsh speaking essential)
1 full time post based in the Bangor Office (Covering North-Wales)

There may be a requirement to support the programme/colleagues in neighbouring regions. Regular and reliable access to a vehicle is essential.

Project Purpose: To support public, private and third sector organisations to develop effective approaches to tackle digital exclusion and improve digital participation across Wales, including within the NHS
Job Purpose: To develop and deliver ICT related training to front line staff and volunteers across the public, private and third sectors, in order to improve levels of Digital Inclusion

This role requires an enhanced DBS check

Starting Salary: £23,117 per annum

Contract: Fixed term to 30th June 2022 with the possibility of extension to 30th June 2025

These posts are funded by Welsh Government

Hours: 35 hours per week
