Location: National Assembly for Wales, Colwyn Bay

Pattern of Working: This is a full-time post although flexible working arrangements will be considered, subject to meeting the needs of the Assembly and its Members.  The role will involve delivering activity, primarily in the North and Mid Wales regions which will require working weekends, bank holidays, privilege days and evenings from time to time. It will be expected that the post holder can use their own car, a hire car or determine how they can otherwise fulfil the requirements of the role.

Security Clearance: This position has been assessed as requiring a ‘CTC’ level of security vetting. For candidates who do not currently possess this level of clearance, appointment would be subject to the successful completion of this level of security vetting.

Purpose of the post:

This post sits within the Communications department, which provides impartial information to raise the profile and understanding of the National Assembly for Wales and encourage engagement in its work.

Reporting to the Community Engagement and Events Manager, the successful candidate will lead on campaigns, design and deliver an extensive programme of events, deliver community engagement workshops and presentations, develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholder in the area, and other engagement activity that will raise awareness of, and interest in the work of the Assembly and democracy in Wales, amongst a diverse range of audiences.
